Bingley St Ives Golf Club
Designed by the famous Dr. Alister MacKenzie, Bingley St. Ives rates as one of Yorkshire's best golf courses. A championship course that played host to the Lawrence Batley International Tournament, a PGA European Tour event which also visited The Belfry and Royal Birkdale during the 1980s and saw many of the European professionals, along with some of the greats such as Arnold Palmer and Lee Trevino, grace the Bingley St. Ives turf.
The club wished to revamp their existing website, having built the club’s existing website they were more than happy to commission WorthDeveloping to undertake the revamp. Starting off by discussing how the existing site had been used and where they felt improvments or additional functionality could be incorporated to better serve their members and guests, a route forward was agreed.
A fully content managed website incorporated a restructure of the existing website content to improve its relevancy and accessibility to members and potential visitors. Additional sections were added to promote a number of external revenue streams the club wished to present. A secure ‘members only’ area provides online diaries for a number club sections amongst a number of other members only functions such as competition results and offical club documentation.
